The Church is called to reach those in need

Jesus said: 'For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me...I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to Me!’ Matthew 25:35-40 (NLT)

Local Reach:

Through our Connect Groups this year we’ll be partnering with the Rutherford Food Pantry to help fill the shelves of our local community with food and their hearts with love to carry out their mission to keep their visitors warm and free from hunger.

Global Reach:

Our Church Alive also supports Pr. George Ssebaggala of Uganda, Africa. Our continued support allows him to house his family and be a part of building the church as we assist with its other needs. We also contribute with our prayers; please continue to pray for the people of Uganda, as well as Pr. George, as he brings them the message of Jesus Christ.

Another overseas mission we are involved with is “Love-N-Care Ministries International.” For $50 per month our church family is able to sponsor an entire pastoral family from India so they can preach the gospel in a country where many face hardships for professing their faith, let alone sharing the gospel of Jesus.

Our goal this year is to sponsor at least 10 families so they have clean water, food, and shelter! Just as our Church Alive Mission is to Reach, Teach and Empower, we believe with our help, Love-N-Care can do the same for those in India in the truth of Jesus Christ.

We are currently sponsoring 8 pastors in India and we are still aiming to sponsor more! We are also currently sponsoring Beverly Fleming, a traveling evangelist! What better way reach, teach, and empower than to sponsor one of our own to go out and spread the word of Christ!

BECAUSE OF YOUR GENEROSITY, CHURCH ALIVE IS ABLE TO do things across the globe! Check out this video to see some clips of our overseas missions:
