Position

Church Alive seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support in running the overall administrative operations, with a concentration on support for the Senior Pastors by performing clerical functions such as calendar management, project management, email management, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls. Some research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, etc.

Tasks and projects are not limited to what is listed below. Church Alive staff come together as one team to accomplish the overall mission of the House with a relentless grit to do whatever it takes to pack out the Kingdom of God. And we have a blast doing it--all in the name of Jesus!

This position is full-time and will close after January 11th 2019. Tasks and projects are not limited to what is listed on this job description. It is expected that all Church Alive staff are committed to do whatever it takes to fulfill the overall mission of the House.

Responsibilities

  • Available and flexible as needs arise within the church organization

  • Manages Pastors Anthony & Miriam’s calendar-scheduling meetings, appointments, etc.

  • Personal errands as needed for Pastors Anthony & Miriam

  • Project manager for Pastors Anthony & Miriam

  • Type reports, letters and other documents using word relevant computer software

  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate team members or take messages

  • Record, type and distribute meeting minutes

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, inventory and maintaining records management database systems.

  • File and retrieve documents, records and reports.

  • Keep drives organized

  • Make travel arrangements for executive team (pastoral staff)

  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence (online, fax, mail)

  • Supervising organization of church storage

  • Other office administration as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma & Some College Required

  • 3-5 years related experience in admin and customer relations

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficient in Communication

  • Excellent Time Management Skills-ability to prioritize projects

  • Collaboration Skills-excellent team dynamic

  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills

  • Strong Organizational Skills

  • Strong level of customer relations
