Who We Are.jpg

Our Mission
Church Alive exists to reach, teach, and empower people to live free in Christ and transform their world.
Our Core Values.jpg

Jesus First.

It is at the core of Church Alive that Jesus will be the center of all we do. It’s all for Him. It’s all about Him. It’s all because of Him.

honor always.

We stand united not divided by honoring how we speak of each other.

Gossip and division do not belong to the Family of God.

We honor God by modeling His design for generosity in our lives by being generous of our time, talent and treasure.

In everything we do, we strive to do it excellently.

God gave us His best, and we should offer our best up to Him.

love boldly.

We place high value on people who are not here yet. Reaching people far from God is the mandate of the local church, and the great commission of His people.

We live our lives out deeply as followers of Christ, and sometimes that means getting uncomfortable so others may know Christ.

We passionately value those who are here by leading them in grace & truth.

No one stands alone.

We provide pathways to empower people to be all God’s created them to be.

Believe Big.

We speak life.

We have a language of faith.

Our prayers and lives reflect the bigness & greatness of our God.

He is a miracle working God so our prayers, dreams and faith are big.

Have Fun!

We have outrageous contagious joy!

The house of God is a house of prayer, worship and a house of joy!

The house of the Father should have laughter and a sense of family.

We Believe
The Bible
We believe in the Bible; it is the living, breathing Word of God, written by men under the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible was written over a 2,000 year period, by over 40 authors, and across 3 continents... and always points us back to Jesus in every book. It is our everyday guide to life and one of the ways we grow closer to God. It’s accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalms 119:11,89,105; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 22:29; John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 3:16

God The Father
God is the creator of all things. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. God is always with us. He never leaves us. We believe that God loves all people and sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die upon the cross to give us the free gift of Salvation.

Genesis 1:1,26,27; 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 3:15-1

Jesus, Salvation & The Second Coming
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to redeem humanity from a lost eternity and to bring about the forgiveness of sins for all who confess and believe in Him as Savior. Our good works or religious duties do not save us-only God's grace can do that. We believe Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the living God making intercession for the saints [forgiveness of sins]. We believe in the virgin birth, the miracles of Christ, His death, burial and resurrection. We believe He will come again.

Acts 10:42; 2 Timothy 4:1; 1 Peter 4:5; Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15:2; Colossians 2:13-1; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:3-6

The Holy Spirit & His Gifts
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son, as God. The Holy Spirit is what Jesus promised us before he died on a cross and left this earth; he promised us a friend, advocate, a helper, and a guide into the truth. The Holy Spirit’s presence assures us of our relationship with Christ. He lives in the heart of all believers, guiding us into all truth and exalting Christ. He convicts people of their sin, revealing that we are righteous in his sight. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and makes us more like Christ.

Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; Mark 1:10; Luke 1:35; 4:1; 11:13; 12:12; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 13:2; Romans 8:9-11,14-16,26-27; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Peter 1:21; Revelation 22:17

We believe the Gifts of the Spirit are for today, and that Holy Spirit manifests them as He chooses amongst his church.

1 Corinthians 12:28; Mark 16:16-18

The Church
We believe Jesus bridges the gap to God the Father, therefore the church bridges the gap between people and Jesus himself. We believe the Church is the body of Christ. Jesus is the head of the Church, both local and universal. The mission of the Church is to make disciples of all nations, as Jesus commanded us. The Church is not a location; it's a body of believers who are united. We believe church isn't just a place you attend, but a place to belong, to grow, and to serve in.

Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 12; Psalm 92:13

Marriage & Family
We believe that family is God’s first institution reflecting His nature and design. We are made to be His family and in relationship with Him and others. We find His Word gives wisdom on how to have a flourishing marriage and family and as we follow Him we see the blessings of His promises.

Psalm 128:1-5; Ephesians 5:21-33

We believe marriage is a covenant relationship created by God to be shared between one man and one woman and exists for the greatest level of human flourishing.

Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:1-9
